jiggin for gills when......

now I want to preface this by saying that this is my new camera and recorder.  while I have been out a few times to try it...I have far from perfected using it.  but I did manage to catch this footage today while jigging for gill.  I have found that the hardest part is remembering to hit the record button when the action starts!  enjoy...and sorry for the squeeling...I tried to fix it with a youtube background track...but i'm not sure if it worked.  oh well had fun today...my boy jigged up 3 other northern up through the holes in the ice house today with a total of 8 gill and 6 northern I don't think i'll have any problems talking him into going fishing anymore!

just watched it again with the wife...and the first thing she says when it's over...?  "for crying out loud...if you're going to have all this fancy equipment, at least learn how to set the date and time."  funny what some people notice and others overlook.  well fyi when you disconnect the battery to hook it up to the charger all information previously entered is lost...kinda like radio settings in a car when you disconnect the battery for ten minutes.  I DID set the time...but have since charged the battery twice so I lost it.  I fully expect to have more brand new videos soon dated jan. 2009.  well practice makes perfect and another weekend will be here soon enough...till then thanks for watching!
