ya if we avoid the rain we should be set with ice conditions....I haven't checked any thicknesses but it is supposed to be friggin cold the next week.

I hope the winds in Maryland that I'm driving through don't hit up there all the trucks are pulled over parked. It's a good 50mph gust.

got about 4inch of snow today, still coming down now. Slushy, wet snow. definite mess. not good for the ice though...but it is supposed to be cold sun/mon/tues/etc

Saw a few wrecks coming home from Utica today at about 1pm. People tend to forget how to drive in the snow after seven or eight months...

Try being around Ft Drum. 10,000 young soldiers that have never seen snow in their lives. First snow is always chaotic around Drum

was stationed there for two years! The best was the 19 year old kids from texas and florida. Thought they were formula one race car drivers on six inches of snow. needless to say, i did a lot of chauffeuring in the winter!

Thats one thing I loved about being stationed at Ft Bragg, NC. They just closed post every time it snowed an inch

we got about a FOOT of snow up here and it is still coming down hard. it is cold, but hope this doesn't help the ice making process the next couple of days.
