OK,  I am to that point.  The weather here does not look good for building ice over the next couple weeks.  During the Day high 30's low 40;s and at night mid to high 20's.  Not good ice building conditions.  Who has ice??? I am ready to make a road trip.  Only thing I can offer back is a trip to the mighty St. Lawrence chasing walleye with me once the mighty St. Lawrence freezes.
Amyone ??  PM me we can talk!

ice dog did you get on the lower lake when it locked up in late November ?

If anyone is out on cranberry this year and wants to line sleds up for fun while fishing, let me know!

hey man hows it going? hopefully we can get out on the lake in a month or so. weren't you guys out there early January last yr?
I'm sure you'll get a couple takers on lining up the sleds, my buddy Cody, you saw him out there last season will probably line up with you with his canned 600 XC for fun.

Just scouted my first ice areas and I'll bet 2 rapalas and 1 vib-e that I'm fishing by Monday or Tuesday. Thats much better than last year. My first day out was the 27th.

Small water is starting to skim over up here. Kayuta is coming along nicely, and some of the small ponds are frozen over already. I guess beggars cant be choosers!

Haha, I have 2 rapalas with no paint left and straightened nose hooks waiting for you. Safe ice better come soon, I just can't seem to yet again stop buying more crap I'll probably never use out there because of that itch!

St Lawrence County. I will be fishing Wednesday. Prob could be out Monday or Tuesday but I have to work and do not want to go on early ice in the dark haha. Wednesday, however, I will be fishing. The ice is there, you just gotta get out and find it.

good luck findin ice in St. lawrence that man can walk on. Cranberry Lake was iced over with maybe inch or two yesterday, today 90 percent open. A pond behind my house is iced over, but i threw a stick out and broke through it. only inch or two of ice and we usually get some of the colder weather in st. lawrence county

I'll take you out on some of my spots on the St. Lawrence by Clayton if you show me some cuse area stuff. Should have enough ice right before or just after New Years if the weather stays true to the long term forecast!

didn't mean to come off as a dink. I guess some people dont mind fishing on 2-3 inches of ice, just not me. Have you had the camp on tooley pond rd a long time? My grandparents built the Windfall House

always deer in windfall, especially late season/after season. My grandma lived in windfall for idk how many yrs and I find sheds in her back yard that were monsters. The last two yrs in a row I have found a big 5pt shed. but you also have alot of deer jackers that travel the river road and tooley pond rd. >:(
