Fished bb yesterday, all day . Bucket of perch, many small and I mean small eyes.  I hate even catching small eyes, some times they don't make it and it's a waste.  Anyway thinking about heading to another location on the 1st.  BB had a ton of people on it and didn't see a single keper eye all day!
hey guys im from the sodus bay area but have neen in nc for a year and sodus bay has nothing for ice or even cold it was 48° today. Im going to be back in ny looking for good fishing if i have to drive or not. Where is a good place up north there for the pan fish?  Any help would b great. Even just a launch site.  Keep em tight, and ice em.
p.s. any spefic info ur willing to give pm me thanks
Just another day on the ice!!!

Hit Mud Lake in Redwood today from 7 AM to 1:30 PM with a buddy for the first trip of the year.  Panfish bite was non existant but the slinky Northerns kept us busy.  We iced 21 Northerns two bass and two perch, not a bad day considering we just went to work the bugs out of everything.  Hoping to hit some real water next week!

Yeah....I was one of those guys in aluminum boats on Irondequoit Bay yesterday. Did well on the perch. Had to work for them and keep moving though. Probably threw 50 or 60 back but ended up with a few topping 12". A REALLY nice day on the water.

not sure, middle probably is, but the other 2 are much bigger and deeper, probably not safe yet.

come on up, i will let you know when the "big lake" is safe and we will raise some h##l with lakers and walleyes and of course the chance at some monster pike!!

yeah Josh.....there were a bunch of guys out. About 6 guys gathered around the channel markers and another 8 or 10 scattered around other parts of the the bay. A few water foul hunters as well. Those shotgun blasts every so often keep things interesting as well.

Got out onto the ice on Friday, lake of the isles was sporting 4 1/2 inch of ice measured with a tape. (probably not so good after the last couple days, I would use caution if going there). Weeded through a 100 dinks to get a good 20 keeper perch, not bad for a start. Also had my first casualty of the year, my cell got flushed down the hole and now resides at the bottom of the lake. Jumped up to go after a runner and plop! Should've picked up one of those sealed cell phone cases that float. Anyway, here is hoping the cold thats coming is swift, would like to hit chaumont or henderson.
