Ice Man Ice

Took a short trip on the Grand Mesa this morning. Caught some Color and my wife and I caught 11 Fish. C&R Only. But Alexander Lake had some Ice forming.

The top of the Grand Mesa is 10600 so it most likely is no less then 9300 Feet.

Thanks lefty, i hope that means some of my early hard deck spots are getting some to. They sit right around that same elevation. Only problem is if we get to much snow then its a no go for them

Oh man that gets me pumped! I have everything all ready to go for the season, I was hoping to get into the high country November 9th and 10th for some ice fishing but I haven't settled on a destination yet. If anyone has any early ice plans and needs some company - feel free to PM me!

Just went through my Pictures and found in 2011 November 17th I had plenty of ice on the Grand Mesa. So about a month from now I will be hitting it.
