I can't take the heat anymore. It's over 90F here in NEPA again. I think it's our 20 or 21st day over 90 this year and we didn't have any the last 2 years. How is it in other parts of the state?

It sux here in the south-central part of the state also. It's supposed to hit 96 today with a heat index of 107. I keep logging into ice-shanty to cool off(at least mentally).

Sucks here in Central PA also. The weather man last night said we are in the middle of having the 6th warmest summer since they started taking stats more than 100 years ago. :o I hope we have one of the 6 coldest winters ever this year also. ;D

I hear that and hopefully it starts soon. :)

It's been a stinker here in the Southeast though today was decent -only mid eighties which is around average. Flyfish the Little Lehigh to keep cool, when I can sneak a weekday away from work. Shorts and old sneakers for a nice wet wade. It was 62 (Water Temp) last week, and manages some nice trout on black ants fished wet. Been gazing longinly at the ice fishing equipment in the garage, as well.

Just think the water only has to lose about 50 degrees or so!! The rivers are like bath water and the lakes are worse.
-
At least today is more tolerable. Hopefully we're over the hump and the cooling trend has begun.

Getting there, I was actually chilly when I came home from work the other day (8am).

I'm actually starting to feel comfortable. I love having to grab a long sleeve shirt at night.
