Jiffy fuel mix ratio
« on: Feb 20, 2019, 12:16 PM »
My jiffy calls for 24:1, 3.5 hp legend series. Question has or is anyone running amsoil 80:1 or 100:1 in there’s? Thanks

I run Amsoil Sabre Pro. I mix it @ ~ 75:1. The 24:1 mix that jiffy use to recommend was for dino oil. I would think most 2-cycle oils these days can run 40 or 50:1 and full synthetic 2-cycle can probably run @100:1 but I like to dial it back a bit.
It must be something in the water.

If you go to the Jiffy web site they now recommend a 40:1 mix with their oil for all of the older Tecumseh engines.  I just use the 50:1 I have mixed up for my Stihl string trimmer.
