Oh yeah I forgot, Wisconsin and Michigan guys, they know NH best  :P ;)

I know nothing of NH. Other than it's a small suburb of Maine. I think. Or maybe one of it's "project" areas. Not sure.  ;)

If there's only 15% of the population fishing, hunting and trapping in NH then I need to move.  Everywhere I go it seems like parking is maxed out and the bays are over fished.

It sounds to me like Dora the dog walker wants to get on the commission without getting any licenses.

Does the dog have a license?

If I'm not mistaken, in NH if they have to rescue you due to your own stupidity, they charge you for the rescue.
That's why they started offering hiker's insurance, so that if you needed to be rescued you were covered.

I do agree, F&G do handle quite a bit. Not just fishing and boating, but "wildlife management".
People who forget that realize it when they have to call about a animal problem.

Nobody’s paying it though is the issue.

Agreed... the hike safe card is just a scare tactic, almost impossible to bill someone for a rescue performed by public service.

Yeah, I always wondered if they were actually getting people to pay out on these SAR bills.

The NH Senate just approved a bill that would suspend a person's driver's license if they "refuse" to pay rescue fees.
Step in the right direction I guess
