Got out today on one of the big lakes, mom wanted to go fishing so she tagged along, I didn’t venture out too far. Fishing was on the slow side,but My mom got her first rainbow through the ice. Caught it on a clam swirl drop white with orange stripes tipped with a worm in about 10 feet of water jigging. also Saw a lady pulling a toddler on the ice with a sled before she started to go out  I warned her of thin ice  (was near moving water) but she proceeded to venture out so I was watching her and on her way back she fell through a 10” hole and she very quickly ran to her car and left. Blows my mind that someone would take a toddler out that can’t even walk. Pure ignorance.

Well done getting out, getting fish, taking your Mom and trying to help others...  sounds like a successful trip.
Hopefully that other Mom learned something too.... though I am sure it was someone else's fault she fell in.
