Tanaka 210 for 6" Auger
« on: Jan 04, 2023, 08:30 AM »
Anyone using the Tanaka 210 with a 6" auger?

Any tips or comments on this set up?

Looking at paring a nils 6" auger with this power head for when the ice gets thicker than 16".

You'll need a gearbox mated to output shaft.  For example, if this 210 is set up as a drill or bulb planter then you have the gear box and will be easily adapter to a gas auger.  If the 210 is taken from a weed wacker then you don't have a gear box and it won't work.
