   Here is a video of my version of a tip up alarm mod. Tired of missing too many bites while in shack . Can be modified to work on different styles of tip ups.

Aren't those alarm kits rated for indoor use only? , meaning they're not water resistant?

   Hi
Like I stated the second one is way better. I wouldn’t use them in the  water/ slush or crazy conditions but I have used in snow and held up good. There are a lot of different ones. I would spend a little more and buy better quality ones .
