GPS Lake Map Chips

I'm looking at getting a new handheld GPS. Does anyone know the best lake map GPS software for Idaho? (Cascade mainly)

I have a Navionics card for the midwest region in an old Lowrance H20c. Looking at upgrading. Have been eying the new Lowrance Outback series. Anyone have any experience with them?

Also, has anyone played with Garmin's lake map software?

Not tried any GPS unit but I have the APP for my phone that works fairly well. Would be nice to have it on a regular hand held unit though.
