Yep I love it also. When the clouds lifted off the Grand Mesa there was plenty of snow revealed. Here is a new shot of the Black Canyon area.

It won't be long here either, calling for lows below freezing for the next 7 straight days, and 1" of snow possible.
-
It's a great time of year, for sure. Looking forward to ice coming soon, and amazing open water fall fishing just getting started!!
-
I was out last Sunday water temp was 54°f

30-45 days out from hard water in our neck of the woods if the weather we've been having lately holds. My guess is 7 or 8 weeks from now will be my first trip out on the hard water for 2018-2019 season.

I am thinking about 3-5 weeks for me. I have ice fished on November 7th before and it was 6" so I could be on 4" sooner.
-
We had a little snow on the ground this morning here.

Very nice, alot of our bigger reservoirs are getting into the 50deg range right now also around here. Crappie/perch have been migrating to deeper water for a bit now and the trout will be putting on the feed bag in the shallows anytime to stock up before ice
-
It snowed here in central iowa this morning. Our lakes are probably around 50 degrees yet

Musky is right... it’s coming. If it weren’t for elk/upland bird hunts, I’d be going nuts waiting for ice. Can’t wait!!

I'm so ready .......... 40° here and monsoon rain all day 🤬🤬😤
