northland makes some very nice, small, panfish hooks. for me,the smaller the better. any kind of
tear drop jigs work well

Use a Custom Jigs and Spins jig tipped with a small plastic tail, waxworm, or minnow. I hope this helps!

Just placed an order from this company. Very friendly place to deal with. Called them to walk me through the ordering process on line. If the jigs work as good as the people I'll keep using them. Not trying to hi jack.My favorite jig is darter jig tipped with mousy.
Having a crappie day and loving it!

I will not use anything else besides the gill pill and the diamond jig from custom jigs and spins, i like the size 14 or if fishing a bit deeper go with a 12, my person favorite color for them is the glow red (pink) have not had any problems gettin craps on them this year. But if they are hungry they will hit most anything. Another important thing is to try for them very early or right before dark.
