Please tell me and everyone else what your experience was like the last time you were out.

1. Ice depth and distance from shore?
2. Were the fish biting, where?
3. What was working for you?

Stuff like that.

Hit Ririe today with Wingnutty. We were in for the long haul. Good thing he has a nice shanty ;) It was damn cold on the ice today.
We were there all day but did manage a nice stringer of 8-9" perch and 2 limits of kokanees that ran 10-11".
It was a great day on the ice and I got to use my new flasher for the first time today. It's already started to pay itself off. :)

No problem, I'll share if others will share on this site. Not sure if 11" kokanee will take the place of big lake trout though. ;D
Mabey we should be heading to Northeast Utah to give you a hand with those Macks.

Hello all,
Lookin to get out on the ice for a day and I'm wondering where the fish are biting, anybody been to the Palisades recently ???  Spent some time at Ririe a week ago or so, still pretty slow. Although from what I read it may have picked up a bit. Thought about the cisco run this weekend on the Bear but I hear there is still little ice which surprises me with all the cold weather.

I went to Twin Lakes yesterday and caught 4 Trout and one perch . There is 12 " of ice . I talked to a couple of other people that were fishing too and all they were catching were small perch . I went to Mackay a week ago . There is 18" of ice and alot of small kokanee . Very easy to catch a limit of small ones .

I went to Island Park on Wednesday . There is 18" of snow on top of the ice and about 34" of ice . My auger just goes through before the motor hit the ice . I caught three Rainbows and missed several bites . The edge is solid easy to get on and off the ice .  I was just off of the boat ramp at the dam . I hear the fishing is better next to the dam .
