Can't say that I have, at least not intentionally.  Typically drop a minnow or a minnow head down and jig plastics next to it.

My dead stick rod is in the same shack as I jig the other one.  I have dead stick a Northland Mimic Minnow and even  Salmo Chubby Darter and had catfish, crappie, and tullibee hit the the lure.  I will say I rather bait with some meat instead.  When I don't have any meat, plastics will do.
