MARSH CREEK ICE CHECK
« on: Dec 24, 2019, 11:57 AM »
I took a drive around Marsh Creek Lake on the 22nd and made a video report for anyone interested.
No, there is some ice but it is far from being ready.

Check out my report here : https://youtu.be/WKfY3a9vHhk
I have the burning desire to go fishing although I know, that if I never catch another fish, that I have caught enough fish!

O well, just for the heck of it I drove around the lake today. All the coves have a thin ice cover for the most part. The main lake is half thin ice and half open water. I didn't expect to find anything different but had to get out to ease the Cabin Fever. The way I see it is that the water is at the freezing temperature and will lock up quick IF we ever get a week of good cold nights and days..... Fingers are crossed.
