Lake Hattie Vehicle Fell Through

Evidently last week a couple guys from Laramie were braving the ice at Hattie when their newer Jeep went completely under in about 6-7 foot of water. They had pictures of it in the West Laramie Fly Store and evidently they had to pay nearly $4000 to get it out. Divers were $1400, and $2500 for the tow truck. I guess the passenger was pretty scared as the ice was groaning badly just before it gave way. The pictures showed it completely submerged with just the top barely sticking out of the water. Luckily they got out before it started to sink...

I saw the same pic at the flystore just thought i would add that the car hit bottom it was only 5-6ftow i know all the ppl at the flystore and talk to them every sat before heading to the lake
