     This is Leon (on the right) and me. It was 20 below zero at Boulder, 38 inches of ice, wind howling, snow blowing horizontally. I can only plead temporary insanity, but we caught these 2 lakers within 10 minutes of each other then said, Let's get the **** outta here. Yes, in the 15 minute snowmachine ride from lake to home, the fish froze! I've been fishing with him for 13 years.

                    Your better half is a pretty lady! When she was cutting that whole and it was at the point where it was just going through the ice at the bottom did it spin her around? The ice looks a little slick.  WOW very nice Perch Heidi. Those are some super Slabs! Great pic's Slayer :thumbsup:

Thanks Big Ice. ;D  She'll be tickled to hear that. I am a d*mn lucky man to have her. She's a peach!!  And likes to ice fish! :clap:  If memory serves me correctly, I think she gave up before the end of the hole.  She said I was much better at it. :roflmao:  Funny story behind that perch of Heidi's.  She was barely paying attention when the pole d*mn near went into the hole!  You would have thought she had some Jackie Joyner-Kersey in her as fast as she ran to that thing! :roflmao:

     This is my son Scott, career Gunnery Sergeant of Marines, he's fished with me since...well, about since he could walk. Made my year when he visited and we hit Fiddlers Lake and lip-ripped C&R about 30 Rainbows just like this.  ;D

Whoa buddy! What a nice family and I really like the "fire on ice", nice brown...great wally...from here? Looks a lot like a Rapal hanging off the pole , congrats!  ;D (I took my propane stove out on the ice yesterday, hot teas/coffee, warmed up strips of smoked turkey drumstick...oh yeah.)

I thank God every day for my family.  The fact they love fishing is just icing on the cake.

Uh...yeah...naaah, I just happen to be a real Rapala fan...caught more fish on them than anything, that and Jakes spinners...I'm pretty much heavy metal on open water.  ;D
