I like singles.

Perch are aggressive, and a single hook makes them easier to take off.

I like singles too as it makes for a smaller presentation, which in my experiense tends to work better.

All my jigging raps and pimples get their hooks replaced with singles.

I replace trebles with singles whenever I can, walleye included too. I always seem to pin their mouths shut with trebles. A pinned shut mouth is no fun in poor lighting with cold fingers. I dont think it hurts my hookup rate much if any. Single hooks make putting a plastic tail on easier too.
