Cheapest 12v Battery?

 I know gander occasionally has them for around 12 bucks

Sometimes you can find them at the tractor supply. They use them for electric fence.
Even found cheap ones at walmart.
Look around the surveillance and battery backup locations. When they try to sell equipment, they keep the batteries low priced nearby, to promote a sale.

I've searched high and low.  I guess its pretty ridiculous for me to complain about $16 bucks

That's a pretty good price.  You may get one a little cheaper on ebay.  When I bought a replacement 9ah battery last year I think it was 15 bucks free shipping.  Just bought the cheapest one I could find.  Works fine, usually get 2-3 days off a charge when fishing.  Depends on how long your days our are I guess.

Cabelas has the 8 amph batteries now for $19.99.  They had them on sale for $15.99 a week ago. Not sure what battery rating you are looking for.

If I wanted to go fishing right now I'd give 40 bucks for one.  That $16.99 isn't bad and with Prime ships free with a 2-3 day wait.  I would think you could find something in your area reasonable and on the shelf.

Cheap batteries are just exactly that. Cheap!

Buy something quality and you won't have to replace it as often.
