32" Berekely Lightning rod with an Abu garcia Ambassadeur 5500C. 20# power pro mainline, and about 12" of 20# steel leader. One end with a swivel, the other with a snap. Some of my lures have the leader tied directly to them.

44" custom spiral guide rod, ABU Black Max spooled w/30# Fireline, 20# uncoated wire leader, snapped and swiveled. Jigging mostly rattle baits but experimenting with tailspinners and jig/plastic combos.
To fish or not to fish? That's a stupid question!

32"-42" custom wrapped spinning and casting rods, 30# Tuf-Line Duracast to black custom made wire leaders. Bait of choice is a 1 oz Northland Airplane jig in Chartreuse tipped with a chunk of cisco.

Meat goes on the main hook, stinger, or stretched across both?  Any tips on what sort of cadence they like?
I'm a man, but I can change, If I have to, I guess.

I put it on the main hook.
Cadence depends on what the pike want.
I judge using my flasher.
Sometimes slow, sometimes fast, sometimes make it look like it's trying to escape.
You can tell by watching the screen what they want most of the time.
