Best pike lake North East
« on: Feb 10, 2010, 06:41 PM »
Looking to take a trip at the end of the month and am looking for recommendations on good lakes to go to in NY, NH VT.  Looking for a place with a lot of pike and would prefer smaller bodies of water. Any recommendations?

Thanks for any recomendations

Maine could be one of the  premier pike states  if they didn't kill everything they catch,I know they don't belong in trout ponds , but they are in the big lakes to stay so why not utilize them.BB

Catching big fish is like winning the door prize!
Have to be there to win!!!!

Thats good!  I can't see killing a fish being sportsmanlike, but...I have never had my waters overrun with an invasive species such as the pike.

If I am a die-hard trout-fisherman, I might be upset with the Pike too...

IDK though...I like fish.  I don't like not using what I kill.

There are some good pike waters in NY from what I hear....never really gotten into them much.
