Any updates on the ice conditions off of Balsam?

We were there Saturday and other then the crack a ? half a mile out it was fine , hardly any snow so wear ice grabbers if walking on the ice ....very slick ! If you head south the crack disappeared to almost nothing , we crossed it , but it's about 16 inchs when we were there ....we were 2.5 miles on , others went further , think the ice was at three feet or close to it

Got out late yesterday...10 30 ish.  Marked lots of fish limit of eaters, 14-18 inches. Had to almost spoon feed them to hit. Downsized to small presentation, live minnow. ~4km form shoreline, 17 fow. Crossed one crack with no difficulties.
