We're those Pike all caught from the same hole?
How much time elapsed between each one?

2 were and a 4 hours or so, the other one was caught in another hole , but few low to mid 30's fish bit in between

Thanks :)
I've been seeing different ways that a quick-strike rig (homemade or store bought) is used. How do you hook the bait? Does your bait sit perfectly horizontal or does it tip nose down when in the water? Also, do you slightly slice open the belly on the bait to prevent floating?

no problem :) mostly horizontal but sometimes I set up a bit head down. I don't slice open unless the bait doesn't sit right or floats. I always check how it looks in the hole or below just to make sure it looks good.

ive done just as well with walleye belly hanging straight down..minnows hooked all over....weiners in desperation. Maybe your pike are smarter though. I think when they get into spawn mode, they get dumb like coyotes do when they mate
