Looks like Striker Ice is adding a line cutter to the zipper pull

                                                          From SI on FB
We are very excited to team up with Line Cutterz, LLC. to bring ice anglers something never seen before on ice fishing apparel - a built-in Zipper Pull!

As seen on Shark Tank and already popular among open water anglers across the U.S. - this zipper pull quickly and conveniently cuts through any monofilament, fluorocarbon, and braided line like a knife through butter.

It's included on our brand new Hardwater Jacket and Bib, Climate Stryk Jacket, Predator Stryk Jacket, and Women's Prism Jacket. Bring on the ice!

Looks like you can get it as a add on

https://www.amazon.com/Line-Cutterz-Ceramic-Zipper-Cutter/dp/B07Q422D63

That's actually pretty slick!

That line cutter looks promising. The only question I have is on the durability of a ceramic blade in cold temperatures. Will it be more susceptible to damage than a metal blade? Thoughts?

I’m sure the eskimo flip overs are really good quality. That being said they have the same problem as their hub shacks. The damn door is only big enough for a moderately sized teenager to get through. Definitely think otter is still ahead of them with the side door.

Line cutters has had a bunch of different cutters out for several years now. I have a flat mount one mounted to my flip over sled. Holding up great.

This new fluorocarbon line is being advertised as "low memory". It will be interesting to see how low of memory this line actually has. I haven't had any luck using any fluorocarbon line for ice fishing that hasn't been very "springy" coming off of the spool! I think I tried 2 or 3 brands and that was enough for me.

Not really new but something I'm considering using as leader on bigger prey. Started using it this past season trolling crankbaits and crawler harnesses w/ planer boards on Lake Erie for Walleye. 20# test @ 12# diameter and it did not disappoint. I had 1 break off all year. Tough stuff with a soft feel. No kinks.

P line florouclear works great for me, I know a lot of others love it also. It's a copolymer.  Get the bulk summer spools, the ice line version is the exact same just re packaged.

Clam partnered with sunline last year and that line is supposed to be awesome,  I'll be trying it out this winter

Been using the P Line florouclear for 2 seasons now.  Summer and winter, and it is a good one.  i fish alot of tungsten jigs so I have been paying close attention to jig spin.  Just received a new order for lighter weights this year.

What was the Clam line that they came out with that you mentioned?  Was this the Frost line?

Awesome! I really like the #3 pLine on my UL panfish rods.  A hi-vis line is nice for line watching/bite detection though.

Yeah it's called frost, looks like it came out a few years ago actually, and they have a frost mono, frost braid and a frost fluoro. I'm going to try the new for this year(hey I'm staying on topic  ;) ) gold color in mono this year on a rod. https://clamoutdoors.com/pages/frost-ice-line

I like that it reclines ..may fit a seating niche

Awww, man I like this idea but any of these camping chairs that have the cross brace in the front are absolutely terrible with how they make the backs of my thighs kill after about 10 minutes. Maybe it's just a big guy problem.

Looks to me like the portion of the cutting head where the blades mount to is the composite polymer material.  The ring of the cutting head appears to be metal based on the pic on their website.  I presume the flighting is a typical polymer material.

The quote on their website..."The composite polymer bottom allows for the smoothest cut..." sure doesn't make sense to me, as I thought the only thing doing the cutting is the blades?
