I agree there are great entries again this season !

I did have one problem with a few pics .. I had to DQ. The quality was extremely poor and I couldn't make out the rule. I don't know if cell phones were used but again I couldn't make them out. It is even tougher with large entries such as pike and musky.
Use the best camera you can and take several shots.

while looking at the perch leader board iv had a few questions about the sizes, i could be wrong but it appears to me that eric2005's perch is actually 14-1/2 inches the inch mark falls between the 14.. the start point of the rule looks good as well vs a 1/4 inch head start.

, He's got the computer tech. to measure them right. The only thing I can see wrong is why guys keep posting fish in categories when they won't make the top 3. I thought they were suppose to go to the short entries categorie

. All dang nice fish so far though.

IMO the head isn't quite at starting point of tape. Lonewolf will subtract from over all length or add whichever the case may be.
No need to get the fishes lip right on the 0 mark on tape. Lonewolf compensates fairly.

Not sure if this applies but in rules states: "The entry is measured from the furthest point to
the rear (tail) and front (lip). No open jaw .. if open measured from shortest point at head.(usually upper lip)"

I usually blow up my pics on screen and take a straight ruler and slide it accross till you hit the lip and do same with tail then subtract or add to total. Usually you can be accurate with Lonewolf.....give or take 1/32 of an inch
