Took my stepson out for his first Ice fishing trip......the Ice was talking pretty fierce, scared him something terrible
. We hit Pond 33, I figured nothing else he would catch a few dink bluegill....boy was i wrong.
He cought the first fish....a bullhead
So I figured it was a fluke
, nope he winds up pulling 3 more up
. I was jigging and cought one myself.
It's funny really, because those fish were not stocked in there, only gills bass and Channelcats. Never did catch a single gill. cought the bullheads on maggots and waxies. He lasted about two hours before he had enough of the ice talking to us. And here is a shot of the X67 doing it's thang, man I love this piece of equipment
