if you are talking about fourth lake of the fulton chain, your best bet is going out from the state launch on rt.28 in inlet.you can walk out 100' or a mile and fish.with that being said, the launch is also a major pathway for snowmobiles,so i would recommend going off to the left or right a ways to try to stay out of the main path of the sleds cause it becomes an absolute zoo out there, especially on the weekends.off to the right cedar creek comes in and off to the left a ways, fifth lake channel comes in and the ice gets thin very quickly.the woods inn is just down the road from the launch,if you get a room there, you can walk right out from the hotel.rivets marina,in inlet, about a mile from the launch, just started selling bait,315-357-3231,i think they also have an ad on facebook.

Thanks everyone for the info i think ill do that go off launch about 100 then go far off to one side or the otehr just in case there is some machine traffic and change depth from foot under ice to foot off bottom see what wants to hit.  Hope to get into a few flags this weekend we will see thanks again!!!!

Some are fishing off the launch but there’s plenty of open water near the 5th lake channel. This weekend might be better with this cold front that moved in. Just be careful
