I am planning a trip up to the area from MA/CT border next weekend. I have seen reports of 6 inches for both. Can anyone verify? We walk on both (without any vehicle), so no need for commentary there.

I was on Simon pond yesterday and today, from the parking near the gun club until the pond narrows was 8ish inches. Further back I had about 6 inches. We used the quad and snowmobile over the entire pond with no issues. It looks like it's going to be warm this weekend so I can't attest to what it will be like next week. Bite was nearly nonexistent both days

On cranberry right now it's 6-8" ice but it's mostly snow slush ice with 1-3" clear black ice underneath, took 2 hits with spud bar in spots and I was all the way thru 7 inches others took 4 hits , safe enough to walk on but no to machines, warm temps this weekend should take a lot off the top
