I fished mon and tues from the island  off the west shore..As you might have guessed the snow was a issue...I was delayed getting out by 2hrs..The ice is still ok and 7-10 in most places..The small fish are still biting well..On tues eve I did get a couple decent fish to bite..The water is clear and they should start snappin any day..Im goin back up on sun..The temps are climbing and who knows how long the ice will last...I might fish all week just depends on the bite...later   greg

I'm willing to bet that the ice season down there is pretty much over.. I was going to make an attempt to drive down there and after some research decided it's not worth the drive!!!!

If u have a sled u will have no problem. It was rough on a quad but made it. My friends on a side by side had a hell of a time getting stuck and went home. 2 outings and still no fish for me made it out 3.97 off crane. Mark
