Chinook Salmon through the ice.
« on: Dec 22, 2016, 11:49 AM »
We finally went over to Fort Peck in Sept. and caught a couple of Chinooks! Holy Crap! Those are fish! I was wondering if anybody here has ever got into any through the ice? I would assume they would be on the same structure as any other time. I really don't think a tipup would hold one though. Anybody out there that has done this? They made it legal to spear them there so they must be seen in shallower water?
