Every time i go fishing  i put it under the ice about that deep but i never get a flag on them I've tried it for a year now. Do you have any lock with catching salmon.  :tipup:  :tipup:

Get yourself into 30 to 60 FOW and set your salmon traps anywhere from 3-15 feet under the ice...

You also want to look at the body of water you are fishing and try to figure out what the salmon are feeding on...most of the lakes here the salmon feed on smelts, so that is what I use for bait
