Messy fisherman

Went out to check ice thickness st local state park. As I walked out on a dock I noticed a broken plastic shovel during on the dock. I saw the wooden handle thrown out on the ice. I want going out on the Ice to retrieve the handle but I did pick up the plastic scoop of the shovel and carry it to the trash can. Wow, that was hard work!!!

I wish people would respect the lake and pick up their own messes. I know this thread comes along every year. It just ticks me off that some people are so lazy that they can't do something as simple as walking to a trash can to throw something away.

I hear ya.  I constantly find cigarette butss scattered on the ice.  As a smoker (although once again trying to quit) I know first hand its not that hard to roll the cherry off it and get rid of the butt in a trash can later for ice fishing or open water or anytime for that matter.
