I looked up the brand of my skull cover;
Guy Cotten USA - Balaclava CAW: Windpro® Polartec® - MADE IN USA
The wind proof makes it priceless!

I have a Buff that I wear as a balaclava in the treestand and another one that I wear in the summer to keep the sun off of my face...they are awesome. Keeps you warm when you need it and cool when you want it.

The wife knitted me one on her knitting machine and it really makes a difference when the wind is blowing and it's single digits or less! And if I get desperate for money I can always rob a bank with it!  ;D

Came in really handy tonight when I took the dog out for a walk. She's an Akita and the colder it gets the better she likes it. Unfortunately for me it's when she wants to snort the weeds for mice. And she has a special place for number 2 as far away from the house as possible!
I would not ride a snowmobile without one.

I have a smart wool one i wear when winter camping as you dont want to exhale in your sleeping bag, but dont want a frozen face.  Immediately have to shed it when i start walking though, man i get to sweating quickly.
