Rain so much rain we would be hammered with snow if it was cold enough. Lakes are gonna freeze starting tonight or tomorrow night, nice snap of cold with temps in the twentys at night. It will be nice that we don't have to trudge through a foot of snow on the lakes.

Hello FoxyCleo,

Drove by Colebrook last Sat. (1:30 PM).
Guess that was you and friends out on the ice.
Watched for a while, thru my binnoculars, but didn't see anyone doing much.
Then went over to Hogback, again not much happening.
Finally went over to West Hill and fished there for a couple of hours. (NaDa!)
Fish seem to be in that Mid-Winter stupor and real slow. (Everywhere!)
Maybe this weather will change things and bring on the bite.

Because of the weather, I took a ride Monday over to Gander Mountain, in Kingston, N.Y., my favorite place, much better then Cabela's, with better ***"selections and prices"****.
Only place I know of that has a 30 ft long wall, 6 ft high, of NorthLand Tackle.
"Like being a kid in a candy store!!!!".
Loaded up with some new gear.
Now its just a matter of waiting for the ice to harden up again.
If you see a fellow, on the ice, in a bright yellow pants and jacket, that's me!!

Have a Great Day!
