How heavy line are you using?

So what line do you have on you jigging rod? I have 10lb. triline on my pike rod.

I have 8# on my rod right now.  I used to use 12#, but now I go lighter and just set my drag to be a little more forgiving.

I use 10# Berkley Fireline Micro ice Crystal for jigging.

I have 3 jigin rods with 3 different lines, I have 8lb main line with 8lb fluoro leader on one, for small jigs, 10lb rod same setup for good size jigs like big rapalas and big pimples and a 12 lb the same rig as others for huge spoons which I rarely use.

Well I did have 6lb, but after fighting a huge northern today for an hour and a half and then having it snap my rod in half, I think I'm going to upgrade my deadstick rod a bit.
15lb mono pike fisherman...WHATS UP!
