Frabill F33 Ice Auger

Got this auger for Xmas about 6 years ago and have used it a lot every year and this year I went to start it and the pull cord broke. So I tried to find a replacement and it seems frabill discontinued there gas augers so I was wondering if any one out there has ran into this problem and or would know what other pull start assembly  out there today that would work. Thanks

If it's the cord, you can go to any hardware store and buy a new recoil rope for a lawnmower, weed eater etc as they are pretty much one size fits all. You don't have to buy a whole assembly if only the cord is broken. Be careful when winding the new cord as the springs are a nightmare to put back if they pop out.

It’s not the cord I replaced that last year. The bottom of the recoil assembly is worn out and needs to be replaced but I can’t find the exact part I need for it

In that case I would look for a make/model/serial number for the engine and contact that manufacturer rather than frabil. Ex my old Eskimo auger has a Tecumseh motor, so I would search for a recoil for that Tecumseh motor that is still used in other applications

As the man said "post a picture"... I have a complete Tec---  pull cord housing that was sent to me 8-10 years ago as a replacement unit.
I've almost sent it to the rubbish for the last 5 years.
Possible it's good for you.
