Hey guys wife got me setup up with a guide called Winke Guide Service have been asking around and no one has heard of this guy and the one person that has says he seemed unprofessional called around and Bud Gehrig was the only guide that had something open has anyone ever went through Bud before? Thanks

never fished with him but I've heard nothing but good things about Bud from his past customers and other local guides

ivebheard a lot of ppl talk of him. for the most part seems to be good. another guy u can check is john jr. associated with sea breeze charters, sea breeze doesnt run hard water trips but some of 'their boys' do. anyways number is 419 466 7360. good luck how ever u decide to go and be safe. pics!!!

never went with bud, but do know he's been ice guiding for many yrs. i think he works from the islands. so you may have to plan on that.

I've gone with Captain Bud twice.  Nice guy.  The only downfall I would have to say is that you are put in shantys in which they do not move you even if the fish aren't biting.  We did have one day in which a front was coming in and it was pretty much drop and pull during that time.  I definitely would recommend bringing a vex if you have one.

   Fished with bud about 5 yrs ago. He goes out of pib he will put you on the fish we got our walleye limit it was a blast
