Zercom?

Has anyone used one of these before??     Pros and cons..............     Buddy of mine might buy one used for $50  I have never seen one before.   thanx

still have a colorpoint and works fine other than needing a new battery. made a set of small jumper cables to run it off my big batt for the elect auger last ice season.

I have a zercom colorpoint for I guess maybe 10 or 12 or more years other than needing a new battery last year works good. I can see a small ice fishing lure tipped with maggot down to about 30 feet after than I can see bottom and larger fish definately worth 50 imho

Hi, if its a Zercom Color Point then yes I'd buy it if I were him, but don't pay that much if its a Zercom Clearwater Classic.....MM

google and look for part availibility..brushes and ducers..i cant remember if its the classic or color point but one is about impossible to get internal parts or service for.
