We got to 25F, the sun felt soooooooooooooo nice! Weather man says we go back into cryogenic storage again though.

I think I may go give it another run on sunday. I guess I am a fair weather fisherman! Am I going to need more auger shaft? I haven't been out in two weeks, and I had 20'' before this cold. This is great though, I love fishing in a tee shirt in the beginning of April. You don't get to do that if you don't make the ice now. I just use this time as a break to reorganise my stuff, respool reels, and catch up around the house. No sense freezing my tail off for marginal catches. I love late ice!! Bring it on!!!

suposed to get a decent amount of snow tonight in pittsburgh not nearly as much as u new yorkers though temps are around 29 above

And between 1'' and 50'' of snow depending on which report you listen to. Most of the time when they beat the bush on the weather report, there is allot of snow coming and they don't want to go on heightened alert yet. $:-\$

Yeah- and beings where I am at- along I-90, we are supposed to get hammered- AGAIN. We have had flurries that have accumulated more than Duluths total snowfall this year. I can't believe that the further north you go, the less snow there is.

Well, this whole weather situation sucks- the ice is all gone here and gonna be cold all week with snow all day tuesday, and part of the day wednesday. After a couple days in the 80s was looking forward to casting out for some crappies, then the bottom fell out, feels like november all over again. Weird.
PS- Al Gore is an idiot, global warming my rear.

Tell that to the flowers in my wife's flower garden, and the robins freezing their tush's off....

Tryed to hit one of the small creeks yesterday - they had sheet ice in the area's of still water....

This couldn't come 3-4 weeks ago when we still had fishable ice.... no - it had to come now....

Go take a hike Al....

In Lower Michigan it has snowed all day, but no accumulation, as the air is 38 degrees. The Northern Lower Penninsula is suppose to get 10-12 inches tonight, and the UP recieved 3-3.5 feet of snow in the last few days.

I never did get that sled made out skis made this summer like I told myself I would. Anyways- yeah 90s here too- don't worry, we got 2 ice fishing shows coming soon- just yesterday it seemed like it was memorial day, so it will go fast.
