Easter Lake Ice

I fished Easter Lake on sunday the 11th.  The North edge along the dam had 5-6 inches of decent ice, but the south shoreline by the boat ramp only had about 3- 3 1/2.  The Catfish were hitting like crazy, and the gills and crappie were spotty.  I was fishing in 22 feet of water and hitting crappies from 9-16 feet, and the gills and cats were hitting on the bottom.  All in all it was a pretty good day of fishing...as long as you had your license.  It was amazing how many people the game warden ran off the lake that day.

Went to Easter this morning. There was some open water along the bank in spots and a big strip of open water by the beach. Caught a few small crappies.
