I'm in trouble!!!

I've got over a month to go and when I close my eyes I see spring bobbers going down! I can even feel them big slab gills in my hand!  I'm sick!

I think I am right with you! I set up my shanty on the deck on Saturday...sat in it for a bit  Didn't catch anything go figure.    I think I was set up a little to shallow.
Good thing i don't have neighbors.

Go to a local lake and jig with your ice rod off a dock. Helps out some.

I am really looking forward to getting on the ice too and jigging up some quality bluegill.  I am still pretty new to ice fishing, so a 10" bluegill through the ice is a thrill for me.  It won't be long now.

   Im in the same bucket with ya. Ive set my shack up a ton of times so far no ice yet going crazy.

Im kind of lucky,I cant get my shack down from the top of the garage till my son gets back from Purdue thanksgiving week. Just to high and the wife cant help.

I heard about a week ago I am gonna be losing my job, so I got a few other things on the ol' noggin right now, BUT- I was laid off last winter as well, and I have to say, it sure is a great time to be laid off!!!

No biggie, I am a welder at a company that makes scales (ones for weighing vehicles, trains, etc) and noones buying right now.

its getting that time of year again around here we got 2" of ice already.    next week should be the start.

With a little luck and the 16 day forecast is right i might be taking care of the problem in a week or 2 on some channels

this past sunday i started getting my box in shape for ice season...relined my tip ups went to gander mountain and wandered through the ice fishing section for what seemed like a few days..haha...can't we just fast forward a few weeks and be on the ice already...
