Title: This is how I fish Lakers in NY(video)
Post by: fullThrottle on Feb 24, 2018, 09:37 AM
I use a 36 inch tuned up custom rod with white 10lb braid with a 6 foot (8lb) fluorocarbon leader. I normally start off with a smaller swim bait with a paddle tail (3 inch I believe). If they don’t hit that I switch off to a smaller silver spoon like a sweetish pimple and tip it with a minnow tail. I normally jig about 5-10 feet off the bottom . When I see a mark on the sonar I slowly bing the bait up and normally they chase and hit !
