How is vehicle travel in the upper bay? Much snow? Drifting?

Thanks

Probably an average of 4 to 6 inches of snow. Some drifting where shacks used to be. 4x4 truck is no problem.  Just be a little cautious about where you stop.

Booked in  a sleeper with Ray last weekend in Feb. I'm calling him but thanks for the update. Means a lot!

A little bump. I know there are some folks from here going to be on the ice same time as we are. If you'd like to meet and share a sip and some conversation LMK. I always like to put some faces with the names.

PM and I can share phone#.

Put a 22.5 on the ice about 5:30 this afternoon. Missed one on the jig rod and had a dropped flag.

Good times.

Yep, upper bay area. Only managed 3 last evening. Decent eater fish in the 17-20" range. All caught jigging also, couldn't buy a flag last cpl times out..

Truck did go through but was somewhere he shouldn’t be. Between Garth point and whitefish river

Do you need a machine to get to were the fish are?
Or can you walk out?
Might be up there for work soon, but wouldn't have a machine.

You could hoof it but it would be a ways. Walleye season ends on the 15th.
