Only 8 years for me. Hard to believe I've been ice fishing that long. Seems like yesterday that I sat on a bucket in -20 F with snow flying for my first time.

A lot has happened in 10 years. When I joined Ice Shanty, I had just had a baby girl, and just got into ice fishing with nothing more than a cheap rod, a few jigs, a 5 gallon bucket and a Mora hand auger. I still have the same rod, bucket and auger, along with tons more gear. I don't see any of the old people that I remember from 10 years ago on here any more.

11 years next month. It's almost 50 - 50 for fish finders and flashers now. Back then I was almost by myself with a graph. Everybody else wanted flashers.

Hey 7lazy, I lived in Burns 10 years ago when I joined Ice Shanty. That's why I am wyogator and not montgator.
