I think there is fish. I hear people mention it once in a while. I am just south, in Zimmerman. It is off of Cty 15/Dolphin St if that is the right one. Never fished it but probably a hidden gem. I drive past it in the summer but don't recall seeing boats on it.
I will check back here to see if someone else knows for sure. Might be worth checking out. Can't be as heavily fished as Green. I didn't get anything worth talking about there last year.

I think there are 2 stanchfeild lakes in that area? Or was it skogman? ???

There was a big and a little of the same name, if I remember right the big one was a freeze out and the little was pretty good.

I will do a little map looking. ;) Field trip time!

I think the sign is like South or East Stanchfield Lake. I don't remember a big or little next too it. Could be wrong, been about 6 months since I have been that way toward Dalbo

there is a little, south, and north stanchfield.  The one that gets fished the most is Little.  They catch a lot of crappies out there on the north end during early ice and there are quite a few spear houses out there, even though it has about 6" of visibility.  There are a few springs on the north end of the lake as well,  I have drilled 12" of ice in one spot and 6" in another only 30' apart from each other.  Honestly though, I have pulled more bullheads through the ice than anything else on that lake.

Skogman is just east of Cambridge, connected to the east end of Fannie by a creek that runs under 95

Here is the DNR info on all of them.

http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/lakefind/results.html

Looks like Little Stanchfield is the best bet for crappers. The survey was done in 2003, allot could have changed since then. DNR has not bothered with the other two in 17 years, so those surveys are of little use.

Whoops, I had to go back and edit my post.   After a scroll on google earth, I was talking about Little Stanchfield.
