What has produced for you?  powerbait or natural

What species did it work for?

Tell some stories :)

Hands down you can get more real than live bait itself.  It's of course higher maintenance than powerbait and the like.  My favorite setup is a minnow head on a buckshot rattle spoon.  mix in that with a vexilar and a little country music on the radio, and i'm in heaven.

I also love fishing with a bug jig and a wax worm on a jiggle stick.  deadly for perch and sunnies.

crappies are also fun on a jiggle stick with a waxie or a crappie minner

Well Yah!  That's the only way to fish.  You can't beat putting the feet up and letting the rattle reels keep an eye on things.  Give me that, a venison sandwich and the hiss of the heater, and i'm there.
