ice fishing is a growing sport, hope to get one more weekend of this season, before i uncover the boat!

RV, if you head up north , you might still be on top by Apr. 1 Shohola still had 15" -17 " of ice and still cold.

least 12" - 15" of ice everywhere. We have a good two weeks of fishing
left baring 60 degree weather every day.

Post by: Bean on Mar 15, 2005, 03:43 PM: I try to advertise for IceShanty every time I'm on the ice by wearing my IceShanty stocking cap and sometimes my IceShanty hoodie. I also have IceShanty bumper stickers for my sleds and vehicles that I made up. I've met some really nice guys and some darn good fishermen through this site.

I hear ya, will retreat up to our private lake up in Susquehha Co. Still have 16" up their & making at night. I plan on going this Sat, & next Fri & Sat. I definetly can't complain, I'va been out every weekend since 3rd week of december.

Yea, I helped this farmer one day who was broke down on the road & gave him a ride back to his farm, We started talkin about fishin & that winter I was fishin his lake, about 60 acres. That was 8 years ago. I already ice fished it one year the week before trout season. Needless to say we always give his family something nice for the holidays.
Best of luck this weekend & stay on top.
