Vexilar FL8 SE

Shopping for a flasher and leaning toward the Vexilar FL8 SE. Any pros or cons on this unit? Suggestions for other units?

I have a vex and love ❤️ it here is a picture  useing mine on the bay in Eire  it works if you find the fish and have what they want....

Without getting into the ford Chevy  thing , not sure what your fishing for or how deep but the fl8 is a great machine , they are tough as nails , and that is coming from someone that no longer fishes with a vex

have a fl8se for at least 10 years holding up great. best thing I ever bought for fishing. I use it on the soft water in my boat jigging over the side of my bass tracker with my jigging rods

FL12 for good price ...same features as the FL8 but with low power mode ALSO ...great for shallow and weeds

the FL8 is a great unit and you could get a low power option via an add on cable for $20

Great choice ...had mine since 2003 ...charge the battery after each and every use as well as one a month in the off season you will be golden ...good luck with your purchase.

I have a Fl 8  for 17 years  works every time I turn in on. I just bought a new battery last year, I'm a Vex man but couldn't pass up a deal Marcum Xl-5I for $250.00  New in the box.
